Computer Support in New-York

Hello everyone! Problems often incur when you have expected them the least. But do you know why? Well, they want to test your patience and knowledge.

Yesterday, I got a networking issue where the customer was unable to connect his printer with shared network running on Windows 7. Actually, he was trying to get the printing task accomplished using the laptop via an USB device.

The customer was looking for computer support in New York. Being over-aged he was unable to visit any local technicians, he wished me to be at his home for the technical assistance. I wished if I could do so, because New-York is worth visiting place, in fact.
I told him about our remote computer support and assured him that everything will be alright soon. I asked for the remote access of his laptop and asked him to check the power switch and all connecting cables.

I went straight into the “Device Manager” to know about the driver status. It was showing errors.
Then I asked him how he plunged into the problem. He said, “See it’s all because of Microsoft Windows 7, which I loaded yesterday, I think it’s, ‘Microsoft big blunder. These people are real cheater’.”

I looked into the “MSConfig” to know the driver specifications, which he needed, and then downloaded and installed the new printer driver. The problem was due to non-compliance of operating system.

Eventually, the case was resolved, the printer worked, the man was satisfied with the computer support, but i can’t help myself and asked, “What were you trying to print sir?” He replied, “It’s a very special PDF image of my son, whom I have missed in the September 11 terror attack.”

I went mum; it filled the whole air, but I could hear my heart, lubb.. dubb.. lubb.. dubb….
