Laptop has become the pivotal one for mobile computing, and these days it’s iconic of style and passion. Last week my daughter gifted me a laptop on my 51st birthday. Isn’t it amazing for me, who had never used a laptop or computer in his life? But one thing was overwhelming about it; it was furnished with games and other software, which can’t. The internet accessibility delighted me the most, as it rewarded me to stay connected with my friends and colleagues on real-time thus, making the life much interested.
Yesterday, I realized sluggishness in the performance of my laptop computer. It was restarting on its own and was showing some changes in the browser home page. Being a newbie I was really in total dismay. I didn’t sleep the whole night, and in the morning when I woke up, I thought of calling a friend, who is good in Computer Repair. I called him up but he was not in the city. Then I took out the laptop manual and tried to set-up and install the computer once again. I unplugged and re-plugged each and every cable but to no use.
While I was doing all, my daughter came around and asked about the problem. And when I told her, she began to laugh wildly! I was feeling almost being cheated. I shouted at her. She understood my feeling soon, and suggested me to go for online tech support. I agreed to her, nevertheless I used it a shot in the dark. I called up the Laptop Support company. They fixed the problem in no time. Really, splendid job they did, which I hadn’t imagined ever. The technician who diagnosed my laptop also offered me an article to optimize the computer performance. There were some easy steps mentioned on it, and I followed the article and it worked. I’m sharing here the steps in brief:
Deleting temporary internet files, empty your recycle bin, remove programs that you do not use. Navigate to the Internet Explorer. Open your browser and click on "Tools." Click "Internet Options." Select "Delete" under the heading of "Browsing history" in the General tab. Delete temporary Internet Files, Cookies, History, Form data and Passwords.
Use "Disk Cleanup" on your Windows PC, as click "start" and go to "Accessories", go to "System Tools", and click "Disk Cleanup".
I hope the magic will work on your system too!
